Zara which appeared in the early '90s was a much exotic mid-engined sportscar. It used a sturdy space framce with fabricated A-arm suspension and roll cage. Power options included engines from 5700cc to 8300cc Chevrolet V8s. The car featured an original angular design with lots of vents and slats.
The car was initially offerd by EDM (Exotic Dream Machines) from Rancho Cordova, California but was soon offered by Jim Kuzara's Zara Motor Company in Sacramento, California. The Zara was even displayed at Chicago Auto Show in 1991 and was priced at 85,000 USD. It is not known if it passed the prototype stage or remained a one-off.
