Rolls-Royce vehicles are considered the best and most expensive in the world. The make is a synonym of luxury and wealth, and the cars themselves are unbelievably durable and reliable. Their designer, Henry Royce, after manufacturing three cars on his own, made in 1904 an agreement on their distribution with the businessman Charles Rolls; the fourth vehicle was built under the name Rolls-Royce. In 1906 the company Rolls-Royce Ltd. was established, which took over Bentley in 1931. In 1980 the company became part of the aerospace consortium Vickers Ltd, whitch in 1998 changed its ownership to VW, and on the 1st of January 2001 to BMW.
