John Barlow - the owner of Royale (from 1994-2002) and Veranti (from 2003) companies, established the third company - Regent Motor Company in 2006. At the kitcar show in Newark in June 2006, a 7-passenger Regent Tourer in the style of the 1930s had its debut. The car is based on London Taxi FX4 with Nissan diesel engine 2.7 - liter and is offered in 2 body versions: Convertible and Landaulette. In autumn 2007 the production was taken over by Caremore Cars.
