Stephen Stringer's Alternative Automotive Design introduced a highly streamlined three-wheeler prototype in ~1991. This three-wheeled Qui Moto was aerodynamically designed to get up to 150 miles per gallon at highway speeds. It was intended for Honda Gold Wing, BMW K1 or electric power plant. A 1:1 clay model was made, but a fully-working car has never been built.
