ONYX composites GmbH (Osnabrück) is developing an ultra-light hybrid vehicle that can be used to cover short to medium distances safely, comfortably, health-promotingly and without emissions. With a drive mix of electric motor and pedal power, this e-mobile can provide environmental relief in urban commuting. With a range of 30-80 kilometers, a maximum speed of 45 kilometers per hour and a weight of less than 180 kilograms (without battery), the two-seater should be used where the bike reaches its limits of range and comfort. The combination of fiber composite materials with technically proven components from electric bicycle construction results in a vehicle that is as light as it is environmentally friendly.
