Since it was founded in 1991, owner Martin Kyburz has continued to develop the electric tricycle. Kyburz AG achieved its first commercial success with its Kyburz Classic. In 2016, the electric roadster eRod was presented for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show. A year later, the type approval for Switzerland and shortly afterwards for the EU followed. In the same year, Kyburz AG continued to grow and founded subsidiaries in Germany and Australia. Shortly afterwards, in 2018, the first operational tests with DXP were carried out in Australia. In 2019, Kyburz AG delivered 1000 DXP to Australia Post for the first time.
