The Istituto Europeo di Design is a private design school in Italy founded in 1966 by Francesco Morelli. Traditionally since 2004 IED presents at Geneva Motor Show a full-scale concept car made by its students. Usually these static design studies are made in collaboration with big automotive companies. Previous collaborations include Fiat, Lancia, Maserati, Tesla, McLaren, Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Hyundai, Honda, Suzuki and Alpine.
