The Ginetta G1 sports car was presented in 1957, and a year later the company was founded and the low-series production of the G2 model was initiated. The G27 roadster was produced in the years 1984-2005. Its production was taken over by GKD in 2005. The G33 roadster, manufactured since 1990 (between 1997-2000 also known in Great Britain as the G40), was in 2003 replaced with the restyled G40. The new G20 roadster debuted at the 2000 Birmingham Motor Show. The G20 coupe version was released in 2005.
