Evex

EVEX Fahrzeugbau GmbH was a sports vehicle manufacturer in the 1970s and 1980s, which, in addition to its own racing team, maintained a vehicle development department (prototype construction 908, 910, flat schnauzer, RSR, etc.).

At the beginning of the 1980s, the company withdrew from motorsport (German Champion & European Champion) and then stopped building vehicles. Apart from the prototypes, only 3 vehicles were built for the road-legal EVEX 910 car series that had been developed up to that point.

After more than 30 years, EVEX was reactivated in 2016 by a new owner (SILAG Group) and is now planning to build this high-quality EVEX 910 sports car in the 3.2 liter and electric drive versions. The combustion engine planned at the time is to be built according to the specifications of the master craftsmen of the time. The prototype is based on the Porsche 910 technology combined with EVEX vehicle construction know-how.

The current manufacturing capacity of the handcrafted vehicles from the EVEX factory pool (body/frame) is 4 vehicles per year. The much more complex electric version was initially built as the 910. The spare parts store for swingarms and wheel mounts alone - self-made by EVEX - are sufficient to complete a small series of 24 vehicles. With purchases from upstream suppliers, the company now has almost 30 tubular space frames in stock.
