Established in 1901, the Dodge Brothers Inc. started the production of a solid construction of the Dodge Brothers 4 car in November 1914. In July 1928, the company was taken over by the Chrysler Corporation. In 1930, Chrysler changed the Dodge Brothers make into Dodge, and in 1935 – the name of the company was changed to Dodge Division. Since 1998, Dodge has been a part of the DaimlerChrysler AG concern.
