The company manufactured small number of sports and off-road vehicles as early as 1978–82. After unsuccessful attempts to re-enter the market in 1986 and 1990, at the 1998 Turin Motor Show Covini presented the C36 Turbotronic coupe, offered until 2003. At the end of 2002, the 6-wheel C6W coupe with a 4.2-liter 400 hp Audi engine debuted, which develops a speed of 300 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 sec.
