Automobili Pininfarina has unveiled a new limited-edition hyper GT called the Battista Edizione Nino Farina as a tribute to the racing legend and first-ever F1 World Champion, Nino Farina. The vehicle will be showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and driven by former F1 star Nick Heidfeld. Limited to just five units, the Battista Edizione Nino Farina is the second design edition in the Battista lineup, following the rare Battista Anniversario. Each car in this series celebrates a milestone in Nino Farina's racing career, making each one a unique collectible.
The CEO of Automobili Pininfarina, Paolo Dellachà, described the Battista Edizione Nino Farina as a tribute to Nino's spirit and courage, encapsulating rarity, exclusivity, and the exceptional quality associated with Pininfarina designs. The car combines the performance of the most powerful Italian car, the Battista, with a bespoke design paying homage to Nino Farina. The exterior features a distinctive Rosso Nino paint with contrasting Bianco Sestriere and Iconica Blu finishes, Glorioso Gold wheels, and an eye-catching '01' body side graphic. The interior is equally exquisite, with Black Sustainable Leather for the driver's seat, Beige Leather for the passenger seat, Black Alcantara trim, and 'Nino Farina' inscriptions.
Nino Farina, the nephew of Battista 'Pinin' Farina, the founder of Carrozzeria Pininfarina, was the first F1 World Champion. The Battista Edizione Nino Farina pays tribute to his remarkable racing career, which included winning the British, Swiss, and Italian Grand Prix races in his debut year. The car's exterior design features bespoke elements, including an engraved aluminium door plate celebrating five landmarks in Nino Farina's life. The vehicle's Rosso Nino paint is reminiscent of the red paintwork on the cars he drove during his victories. Both seats bear the 'Nino Farina' inscription, and the driver's seat includes a gold embroidered laurel wreath and '01' graphic. The interior showcases attention to detail, including Iconica Blu seatbelts, duotone contrast stitching, a black Alcantara steering wheel with Exposed Carbon, and brushed aluminium accents.

The T-shaped battery pack ensures a low center of gravity, while the vehicle offers a driving range of up to 476 km (296 miles).
